Looking Ahead

There will be a greater emphasis on multiplication and division teaching, using reverse multiplication to teach division. We will continue to look at programmes to improve the understanding of place value. Data testing and collection will continue each term, and results analyzed, and entered into ETAP. These will be used to plan for the needs of individual students and reporting to parents. The cluster meets once a term to look at the data and discuss ways to move the children forward and support our teachers. This is shared back at school at Staff and Syndicate meetings. We are also able to access relevant support and resource materials through our facilitators and will monitor these to see what works for our children.
