Last Day of Term Two

A reminder to all whanau that this Friday, 12th July 2013 is the last day of term two. We return to school for Term 3 on Monday, 29th July 2013 after the 2 week holiday break.  Have a happy holiday break!

 

People’s Choice at The Warehouse Kaikohe

Please remember whanau that when you make purchases at our Warehouse store to collect your discs and place them in our school slot just as you walk out through the doors.  We will win a donation if we are the most popular choice.

 

Concerns and complaints

The following is our procedure for discussing concerns or making complaints. 

If you have concerns or complaints that you wish to discuss, please contact the office and make an appointment to meet the principal or see your child’s teacher in the first instance.

If you consider that your concerns are not being addressed, a complaint should be made, in writing, to the chairperson of the board of trustees:

Duffy BooksAll children will be bringing home today a Duffy Book with the school newsletter, sponsored by the Government.

No JMB Netball

We would like to remind whanau that the Netball season has now finished.  We would like to say Thank You to everyone who helped or supported our teams every Saturday, we really appreciate your time and commitment.  Could all coaches please remember to return sport uniforms to the school office.  What a successful season!

 

Term 3 ClubsAll children will be put into either their first or second club choice for Term 3. Clubs will happen every Thursday afternoon from 1.30-3pm.

Kids Can Dress Up Day

On Friday 9th August we are planning a Dress up day to raise funds for Kids Can.  Kids Can have helped us so very much with food, jackets/coats knit oil and combs etc. On this day we are asking for all children to come in “dress up” clothes and buy a $2 sausage sizzle. All funds raised will go to Kids Can.

 

Holiday Throat Swabbing

During the school holidays if children have a sore throat they can get a throat swab by either - going to Broadway health Centre or calling in to Te Hau Ora o Kaikohe. Both are free.
