Welcome

A special welcome to new children Napiah and Tiarah Brown- Korewha

 

April Holidays

A reminder that our last day for Term 1 will be Thursday 17th April and Term 2 will resume for all children on Monday 5th May.

 

Term 2 Timetable

A reminder that in Term 2 we will be trialling this new timetable:

 Junior classes particularly would have two small fruit/snack breaks during the Literacy Numeracy blocks.  We welcome any feedback Whanau may have regarding the trial.

Swimming Ends

The last day for swimming this term will be next Wednesday.

 

Subway only Thursday

For Term 2 and 3 we will only be offering Subway lunches every Thursday only. Evon lunches will be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and will from Term 2 include a macaroni/cheese lunch option.

 

Iceblocks for Sale

Ice blocks for sale Thursday and Friday outside the school office, 50 cents each.

 

Soccer Rally Day

This Saturday there is a rally for any children 12 years and under at Lindvart Park. Contact is Gareth Johnson, phone 0275889959.

 

Kaikohe Intermediate Gala

Kaikohe Intermediate School will be holding a Twilight Gala Day on Wednesday 16th April from 4.30pm to 7pm. 

All welcome to come along and support our local school!

 

Room 1 and 4 Camp

WOW! What a fantastic few days at an awesome location!

Cycle Track Ride and Monument Visit

Next week on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th Room 15, 12 and Tumanako will be working together to complete activities linked to this terms Identity and Culture topic. The main activities will include riding bikes along the cycle track to the tunnel and walking to the Monument on Tokareireia (Kaikohe Hill).

Could all permission slips be returned indicating whether your child is allowed to participate. Whanau are welcome to join.
