Room 14
Last term Room 14 made our own representation of Tūhoronuku. We used dry harakeke from the garden because it was too wet to go and get raupō. First we practised the lacing technique we would need with string and pencils. Then we made our manu rere.
Learners Bike Track WorkshopOn Wednesday 29th July from 9.30am until 2.30pm a group of children from the Junior and Middle Syndicate will be taking part in a Learners Bike Track Workshop with ĀKAU. The purpose of the workshop is to get ideas from learner bike riders about what they would like to see in a new bike track development especially designed for younger members of our community. It is envisaged that a group of about 8 children will attend this workshop. A letter will come home with children selected.
