Zoo Fari

Thanks to sponsorship from The Warehouse our 33 Year Six students and teachers Whaea Kelli Witana and Matua Jim Shortland are staying overnight at the Auckland Zoo on Tuesday 1 September, returning on Wednesday 2 September.

Year Six children will bring home a detailed notice about this today.

Year Four and Five children in Rooms 15 and 16 will be with other senior classes on those two days.

School Cross Country will now happen on Monday 24th August.

It will start with the 7-11 year olds running at 9.15am and the 5 and 6 year olds running at 2.05pm.

If the weather is unsuitable the event will move to Tuesday 25th August (rain, hail or shine). Please pack your child a spare change of clothes on both days and ensure they have a water bottle and sensible shoes to run in.

All are welcome to come and spend the day with us, bring a picnic lunch?

School Cross CountryDue to the weather forecast for today and other school programmes happening we have had to make last minute changes to our School Cross Country.

Free Vision Testing and Free Glasses

If the tests show that glasses are required these will be manufactured to order and delivered to the child’s school about three weeks later.

Last week your child brought home a consent form for this.

Note that you only need to fill in the top part of the form.

We need the form completed and returned to school as soon as possible. All returned forms will go into a special free lunch draw.

Be sure to return your form to the school office.

We are sending another form home today to those who have not returned a form to the school.
