Gala Day thanksWhat an awesome Community event! Our special thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to our Gala Day’ success. To our staff for their support, to our staff Whanau, to members of our community and to our local businesses, we thank you all. Funds raised will be used to purchase resources and equipment for our children.

Room 1 and 4 Camp

It is now only one week away before for Rooms 1 and 4 go to camp From Wednesday the 2nd- Friday the 4th of April.  Teachers are busy finalising transport, the menu and the itinerary/activities for these days.  If children have not brought back their permission slips can we have those in by urgently please so we can finalise numbers attending and parent help. We sent home  gear lists, contact details while at camp and an itenerary last week.  If you have any questions regarding the camp please contact the teachers involved.  Room 4 Miss Ceri Mason and Room 1 Mrs Rebecca Croucher or Miss Natalie Snow.

 

Triathlon congratulationsWhat a fantastic day many had in Onerahi on Sunday with our Triathletes. Special thanks to our competitors especially our “poto’s” who were roped in to fill some gaps. You all were winners!

Special thanks to coaches, Mrs Croucher, Mrs Stillwell and the great whanau support on the day.

 

Child Restraint Leaflets

It is now law that all children under seven must be secured in an approved child restraint appropriate for their age and size. All children will be bringing one of these home for Whanau info.

Room 14 to Puketi Forest

Many thanks to the Whanau who attended this trip with Room 14 yesterday.

 

Kaikohe Literacy Day

The Kaikohe Rotary Literacy Day is 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday 5 April at Northland College. Fun literacy activities for all the family. 1,000 children's books to be given away. All welcome!

 

Stationary reminder

Children who did not manage 100% attendance for the start of their year will have brought home by now an invoice for their stationary ($15 per child) payable at the school office.

 

Mr Whippy turns 50!

Mr Whippy is turning 50 and as a way of saying thanks so much to you for supporting us for 50 summers, we are giving away 20,000 ice creams with any gold coin donation. All donations are going to Child Cancer Foundation. Mr Whippy will be at Lindvart Park (by the netball courts) at 11am on the 29th March.

 

DISCO for 0-10 year olds

This Friday 28th March there is to be a Disco held at the Memorial Hall. $2 entry and glow sticks also available for sale.

 

Netball Coaching Workshop

Bay of Islands Netball is pleased to inform you that Robin Manihera from Netball NZ will be delivering two coaching workshops and would like to invite any interested to register their intention to attend.

7th April 2014, Lindvart Park, with Robin Manihera, $5 per person per session (to cover cost of providing resources).
