Welcome

This week we welcome Harriet Wehi to our school.

Farewell

At the end of this term we say thank you and farewell Matua Francis who has been teaching in Rangimarie this term. Matua Francis will continue relief teaching at ours and other schools in Term 4.  It is likely that Whaea Marje McGee will return to teach in Rangimarie for Term 4.

Celebration Day Thanks

What a wonderful day we had last Friday. A huge thank you, to the whanau who came along to help with the hangi preparation, to support our tamariki and spend the day with us. We were thoroughly proud of all our performers and plan to make this an annual Term 3 event.

Room 5 & 6 Farm Trip

On Tuesday we went to the farm to feed the geese and all the other animals. It was amazing how they were drinking the milk. The milk was long. They must like lots and lots of milk. I wish our school had cows and babies. That would be cool if we can feed the babies. It is good that they feed all the animals. I think they are doing a good job in Northland College. Before they feed they put on something like a jacket. I wish I did that.By Elton Komene-Mau

On Tuesday we went to the farm. We feed the baby calves. We saw chickens. We feed the ducks. I felt happy.

At Northland College Mr Alexander talked to us about the hens and he talked to us about holding the hens carefully, and the eggs too.  When we fed the lambs we had to hold the lambs very tightly because when I feed the lamb it went under the chair.
