Please send orders with payment in a sealed envelope labelled with your child’s name and room number. Order forms are available from the school office or if you visit our Facebook page you will find the link to order and pay online.

Whanau are welcome to attend with their tamariki to see what the school has to offer for next year. The children will be involved in various classroom activities on this day that will give them some idea of what Year 7 will be like for them at Kaikohe Intermediate. The Principal Freda Mokaraka will also be available to speak with whanau should you wish to.
Earlybird registrations are still open for this family fun event on Sunday 25 September. 9km, 14km or 21km run or walk finishing at the Pioneer Village live day. Lots of prizes. Go to www.kaikoherotary.org/t to find out more and to register.
Social Worker in Schools
A reminder to whanau that we have a School Social Worker who works in our school every Wednesday and Thursday. Her name is Whaea Lucy. She can be contacted by phoning the school office. Whaea Lucy works with whanau and children who may need support or someone to talk things through.
Kutus
We are noticing a number of children who have kutus. We ask whanau to check and clean your children’s hair regularly. If you require a comb and kutu solution please come in and see us at the office.
