Whānau are more than welcome to come and see the great activity and action going on every Thursday from 1.35pm until 2.50pm. All children are in a club until the end of the term. Staff are considering whether we will continue with clubs in Term 4.

Wheels

If your child would like to ride bikes, scooters or skateboards at break times, the designated area for 'wheels' is the concrete area outside Room 12. All riders must wear a helmet. No 'Wheels' are allowed on the Turf or on the decks.

Head Lice

Please keep checking, combing and cleaning your children’s hair.  We still have free kutu combs available at the school office and are trying to get more free liquid treatment from Kids Can.  We can also provide para plus as well as a quick comb treatment in our school sick bay, if you wish to decline this treatment please notify the school office, otherwise treatment will occur. You may also get a visit from our Public Health Nurse, Lorreen Broughton who may be able to offer some advice and support.

School Uniform

We have made a final decision re the school uniform shirt which is currently on display in the school office. The shirts are being made in China and supplied to us by Sportclub, Whangarei. They have agreed to price the shirts at $35 each and will continue to try to source an emerald green zip up jacket also.

For now if you would like to place an order for a shirt we will have size samples available hopefully in 3-4 weeks at the office. Payment must be made with your order, orders will be sent away once we have 50 shirts ordered. Any black bottom can be worn with the school shirt as from 2014, and a reminder that the uniform is an optional for 2014.
