Investing Educational Success (IES)

By now you may have heard about a new initiative called IES that the Government are proposing. Following a recent survey of all NZ Schools approximately 96% of schools do not want this policy implemented.  Schools would rather the $359 million dollars the Government are proposing to pay current Principals and Teachers to be spent on our children for things such as more Teacher Aides in classrooms and smaller class sizes.

I urge whānau to watch the news, read articles and decide whether or not you agree with this proposed policy.
