Term 3 – Dance with Hush

We are planning for two dance groups to work with Bodeene Stephens from Hush Dance Studio at the beginning of Term 3. We are looking forward to the two groups working hard and performing at the annual Cultural Festival to be held towards the end of Term 3 at the Memorial Hall.

Holiday Projects

During the holidays we were pleased to have the interior of Room 17 painted, a new water fountain installed down by Ngā Kākano and the new sandpit cover installed.

Pedestrian Crossing on Broadway

Every morning from 8.15-8.30am and 3-3.15pm Mrs Maihi is on road duty at the pedestrian crossing closest to Paper Plus and the Doctors. Please be sure your child gets to the crossing so that they can cross during these times.

We have also purchased a cone/flag to place in the middle of the two other pedestrians to help motorists notice and slow down when approaching. It has been pleasing to see Constable Whiti Tipoki out on the roads in the mornings also doing his bit to help keep our tamaiti safe when walking to and from school.

Bus Bay Reminder

Whānau are reminded that stopping in the bus bay is not permitted. Bus drivers get annoyed when pulling in and cars are parked in our bus bay.

Cars should not use the bus bay at all from 8.15-9.15am and 2.30-3.30pm
