Flooding Remediation

A reminder, that due to flood remediation work happening, junior classes have been moved temporarily.

Rooms 1, 2 (Ngā Kākano) and Room 6 are in the hall

Rooms 3 and 4 are in the Library

Room 5 (Manawanui) is in Room 11

Principal's Award

The Principal's award goes to Demi for consistently good behaviour particularly at buses.

Transition to Kaikohe Intermediate School

On Wednesday 19th August, all Year 6 tamariki will need to come to school in full school uniform please. They will be visiting Kaikohe Intermediate School as part of the Transition to Year 7 programme.

Netball

It was a great turn out of netball teams and players who played in the wet weather last Saturday.

All players to meet their coaches or managers at Lindvart  Park netball courts at 8.30am to change into uniforms and warm up before your games. All uniforms to be returned after Saturday games.

Hockey

We had a lot of keen hockey players who turned up on Saturday and battled on the field in the cold wet weather.  Amazing play by all our Kaikohe East School players.

Please meet your coaches/managers 15mins before your games at the Lindvart Park hockey turf.

Mini sticks practice Friday’s at school during lunch. Seniors only will have practice at the hockey turf at Lindvart Park every Wednesday after school from 3.30-4.30pm. If there is to be a cancellation we will make the call by 2.30pm that afternoon.

Basketball

Well done to all our basketball teams that played on Monday afternoon at Northland college gym. Our U9's played a great attacking game against Tautoro School and Above the Rim.

Our U11 Kaikohe East 1 team enjoyed the fast paced game against Tautoro School with a full time score of 13-14 to Tautoro School.

Kaikohe East 2 U11's team had an easy win over Kaikohe West School.

Learners Bike Track Workshop
