Classroom Swimming Timetable
Here is the classroom swimming timetable:
Monday: Room 15, Room 16, Room 14, Room 8, Room 6, Room 4, Room 1,2, M and special rights
Tuesday: Poutama, Room 17, Room 9, Room 7, Room 5, Room 3, Room 1,2, M and special rights
Wednesday: Room 15, Room 16, Room 14, Room 8, Room 6, Room 4, Room 1,2, M and special rights
Thursday: Poutama, Room 17, Room 9, Room 7, Room 5, Room 3, Room 1,2, M and special rights
Friday: Free Swim for selected Seniors, Middles and Juniors and special rights children.
End of Year Reports
All children who have been at school for more than 6 weeks will be given an end of year school report to bring home on Wednesday 12th December.
T Ball
There is T Ball today, 4pm at Lindvart Park. Children will be getting ready at school and then heading over ready to play by 4pm with their coaches and gear.
Touch
Touch again tomorrow. 4pm at Lindvart Park. Children will be meeting their coaches after school, getting ready and then heading over to Lindvart Park by 4pm.

Classes for 2019
Staff are over the next few weeks organising all children into classrooms for 2019.If you have a preference of the class you would like your child to be in next year if we can accommodate that, we will try.Any queries please feel free to contact or come and see the school office.
Kaikohe East School Board

Health Topics 2019
In 2019 our Health Curriculum topics are likely to include the following ideas/topics/content:
Term 1 Sun safety and using WITS (walk away, ignore, tell someone rather than get into an argument with someone)
Term 2 Healthy Eating and being active
Term 3 Life Education - keeping safe and taking care of my body
Term 4 Personal Hygiene

5 year olds for Term 4 and 2019
If you have a child who is turning five either this term or in 2019 and starting school here with us we would love to know as soon as possible please.If you could let us know your child’s name, their date of birth and if you have time come in and complete an enrolment form.If you have available your child’s birth certificate and immunisation record they would be helpful too.Call the office if you have any questions.
Zoo Trip
On Wednesday 5th December, Tūmanako, Room 16 and Room 15 will be going to Auckland Zoo. A permission slip will be coming home today. Please send this back asap. We will be leaving at 7am and back by 9pm. Please see your child's teacher if you have any questions.
Year 6 Leavers’ celebration
Teachers and Year 5 children will be busy organising for a Year 6 Leavers dinner to be held at our school hall on the evening of Wednesday 12th December.More details about this will come later.
Delayed Photos
Apologies, our school photo orders have been delayed. We have been notified by Photolife that our school photos will be with us for distributing by the end of this week. We will notify whānau via fb post when they arrive.
SwimSafe Classes
Swimsafe lessons have started for all classes at our school pool. All Children will need named togs and towel in a bag every Monday and Tuesday as well as their normal swimming days please.
Talent Show auditions were held today after karakia, finalists will be announced at karakia tomorrow morning. The Talent show will be held in conjunction with our Final Assembly for 2018 on Friday 7th December, probably from 11.30am-1pm in the School Hall. Times will be confirmed at a later date. All welcome!
