Welcome

A special welcome to new student Ayla Cherrington, and returning student Karma Jane Kopa.

Our Condolences

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Shaw, teacher in Room 14 and Deputy Principal whose mother passed away in Whanganui last week at the grand age of 101!

Using chromebooks/ipads

Yesterday Whaea Chicky and five Teachers of Year 4, 5, and 6 classes visited Ohaeawai, Tautoro and Kaikohe West Schools to see the children using chromebooks and ipads.

Upon our return to school we discussed the visit and what implications there were for us here at Kaikohe East. We also discussed the fact that we want to know what whanau think about these devices being used more in class programmes.

Later this term we will be sending home a survey to find out what you think.
