This Friday is the last day for Term 3, school for Term 4 starts on Monday 13th October.

Last day for Voting Stickers

Please be sure your “Yes I Voted” stickers are at school for the final count by tomorrow at 10am. The class with the most stickers wins a trip to Paihia in Term 4.

Classes for 2015

Class organisation for 2015 will be drafted over the next few weeks, if whānau have any preferences for what class their child/children are in please let Whaea Chicky know your preference. We will honour your preference when creating class lists if possible. Most classes next year will be mixed levels so there might be for example in one class a mix of Year 4,5 and 6 children in a Senior class and similarly in a Junior class their maybe a mix of Year 2,3 and 4 children.

School Uniform 2015We will be expecting all children in school uniform by the beginning of next year so come and see Kohi at the office about part time payments or purchase now!

School Polo shirts are $35 and you will receive a free pair of black pants while stocks last.

We also are ordering the polar fleece jacket (full or half zip). These will be $45 each.

Kai at School

All Whānau please remember that we have plenty of yummy kai at school we are more than happy to give your child/children throughout the day. Please do not think that because you don’t have kai for breakfast or lunch that you need to keep your child/children at home. Send them school, we have weetbix, milk, bread etc for toast and lots of snack foods!

Whānau Hui

Thanks to the whānau who took the time to come and talk to their child/children’s teacher about their progress to date. Well done to Room 1 and Tumanako for having the most whānau attend.

Loud Shirt Day!

Loud Shirt Day was last Friday! Thank you to everyone who made a donation that will go towards helping give deaf kids a voice.

New Enrolments

It is important that we know if you have a child in your whānau who is turning 5 this year and will be attending our school or if you have any whānau possibly moving to our school this year.

Please contact us or come and see us.

Bring the child’s birth certificate or passport and their plunket book or their before school check information if you can. We can still enrol your child without this information but do need it at some stage soon after they start school.
