Breakfast Helpers

It would be great to have some more volunteers to help with school breakfast club, 8:20-9:00am in the hall.

New Enrolments

It is important that we know if you have a child in your whanau who is turning 5 this year and will be attending our school or if you have any whanau possibly moving to our school this year.

Please contact us or come and see us.

Bring the child’s birth certificate or passport and their Plunket book or their before school check information if you can. We can still enrol your child without this information but do need it at some stage soon after they start school.

NetballAll children wishing to play Saturday Netball for the school will be bringing home a letter today. Whanau are asked to read the letter, sign and return it to the office by Friday. If you have any queries don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Stillwell or Whaea Kelli.

Netball begins this Saturday 2 May at 8:30am.

HockeyThe Laurie Byers JMC Opening Day Tournament will be held this Saturday 2 May at the Hockey fields in Kaikohe. Players need to be there at 10:30am. Games finish at 12:30pm

Free Dental Care

The Ngati Hine Health Trust has partnered with the NZ Dental Association to provide a free dental day on Saturday, 16 May 2015 from their Kawakawa clinic. Five dentists have volunteered their time to treat patients. To qualify you must hold a Community Services Card. Appointments are for 30 minutes only and patients can receive a filling, an extraction, relief of pain, or preventative care such as cleaning (scale and polish) and fluoride applications (varnish) if they do not require any fillings or extractions.

If you know of any whanau member who needs treatment and has a community services card, please help them to book an appointment through 0800 MY TEETH (0800 373 376) Appointments are limited so first in first served.

Concerns or Complaints

If you have concerns or complaints that you wish to discuss, contact the office and make an appointment to meet the principal or see your child’s teacher in the first instance. If you consider that your concerns are not being addressed, a complaint should be made, in writing, to the chairperson of the board of trustees:
