Northland College Fundraiser

Please support the Northland College Senior Te Reo Māori trip Hāngi fundraiser, Thursday 27th September 2018, Northland College. $10 3 meat, pumpkin, potato, kūmara, cabbage and fried bread. Please contact Northland College if you would like one, 09 4011532.

Photo Day

On Thursday 27th September we will have Photolife here taking school photos. We will be sending out order forms soon, for now start saving your pennies! Class photos are usually about $15 each and there are a variety of individual photo options but they will only be taken if payment is made prior to the day.

Principal’s AwardLast week Presley Stephens was awarded with the Princpal’s Award for always showing manaakitanga. Presley is a kind, caring and helpful student. Thank you Presley!

Father’s Day “Caught Being Good”

Last week we awarded three lucky tamariki with a book and certificate each for their fathers. Their Fathers’ Day story was drawn out of a box.

Hockey Teams 2018

This season we had three hockey teams, Whaea Claires Year 5-6, Whaea Michelle & Whaea Waiora’s Year 2-4 and Whaea Kohi’s Year 1’s.

Cultural Festival 2018

On Wednesday 19th September – dress rehearsal at the Kaikohe Memorial Hall, Friday 21st September Performance Day – entry by koha. We are pleased to have three kapa haka participating from each Syndicate and a dance group. Groups will be walking up to the Memorial Hall onboth days with their Kaiako. They will need to take their lunch with them on the Wednesday, wear sensible footwear and have a jacket for walking both days.

Daffodil DayThank you to everyone that was able to make a small koha towards our Daffodil Day fundraiser, we were able to donate $246!

Room 7 Science Experiments
