Bay Of Islands Rippa Rugby TournamentFriday May 15 - 9:00am-2:00pm at the Kerikeri Sports Complex

We will be taking 2 teams to this tournament. A Year 3-4 and Year 5-6 team.

If selected our child will bring home a permission slip. Please sign and send back to school as soon as possible. If you can come and support our two teacher coaches on this day please let us know at the office.

Room 1

Due to the number of 5 year olds, next week we will divide Room 1 into two groups. One group will be the children who have been enrolled the longest. Their teacher will be Miss Snow and the newer 5 year olds will have Whaea Becs as their teacher. We will try our best to contact whanau to let them know which teacher their child will be with. On a Fridays it is likely that both classes will combine to do joint activities and learning.

Any queries do not hesitate to come and see us!

First Aid Training

Last night all teachers and some support staff attended a very enjoyable First Aid Training course. The course involved basic skills that will enable us to assess, manage and assist should we be faced with an accident or a situation requiring first aid support.

Fluoride VarnishWe have just been advised that fluoride varnish is to be applied to children’s teeth at the school dental clinic every 6 months. This is another initiative from the Northland District Health Board to help prevent tooth decay in children’s teeth

If you want to know more contact Oral Health Promotions Adviser Shareen Ali at Northland District Health Board 0-9-4304101 extension 60624.
