Nau mai haere mai!

Here are the names of our new tamariki – Lucinda Berridge and Renae Flanagan.

School Closed 

Reminder school is closed for children this Friday 12th March.  Staff are participating in a professional development day.

Covid Thanks

Thanks to all whānau for their patience during Covid Level 2.  While we could have had whānau visit we could see that not all whānau were following the sign-in rules therefore the gates were locked at various parts of the day to ensure the safety of our children.

Weetbix TRYathlon

All registrations have been booked and paid for those who returned their permission forms. We will be starting training this Thursday lunchtime. We won’t be needing bikes initially. Any questions please contact Whaea Lydia through the school office.

Ākau - Te Reo Māori on the Streets of Kaikohe

We have a group of 15 students who will be involved in a project run by Ākau. They will be selecting, designing and painting a kupu Māori onto a wall in the main street of Kaikohe. The selected tamariki will bring a permission slip home today. 

Netball 2021

Netball will be starting in the first week of term 2 and games will be played on Wednesdays after school from 3.45 to approximately 4.45pm. We are looking for whānau support in having coaches and managers for our teams of Years 3/4 and 5/6. We will send permission slips home during   week 8.

Hockey 2021

We are now taking registrations for hockey. The season will start the beginning of term 2 on Saturday 8th May 2021 starting with an opening tournament. Please contact Whaea Claire 0211124091.

Pukenui /Forest Pools Haerenga

Many thanks to the whānau who were able to support with supervision this week.  One haerenga to go tomorrow.

On Monday Te Korowai o te Aroha Rooms 5, 7, 17 went on the trip, Tuesday Rooms 3, 9, 10, 14, today, Wednesday 10th March, Ngā Kākano-R1/2, 6, 8, 16 and tomorrow Thursday 11th March Rooms 4, 12, 15 go.

Kaikohe Football

Registrations open for the 2021 season.

The Season will start Saturday May 8th all being well.

If you are interested in football for junior, youth and seniors this can be done online with your information.
