Farewell Staff It is with great sadness that we farewell the following staff at the end of this year: Whaea Robin, Miss Schwieters, Miss Curry, Whaea Sharon, Whaea Becky, Whaea Marje, Miss Maihi, Whaea Sonia and Whaea Claire. We thank you all for your awesome work at Te Kura Rāwhiti and wish you all the very best for 2013!

Kaikohe Christmas Parade Well done to Mrs Croucher and her merry band of helpers, we won 1st Prize at this year’s Kaikohe Christmas Parade!
Written Reports Teachers will be available for whānau to come and discuss any aspects of their child/children’s report/s that may need clarification. The date for this meeting is this Wednesday 12th December (today) from 3-4.30pm. If this time is not convenient please contact your child’s teacher to make an alternative time.
Room 6 Christmas Party Room 6 is having a Christmas party with a shared lunch on Thursday 13th December.
Room 1 & 2 Christmas Party Room 1 & 2 will be having a combined Christmas party and shared lunch. The children in these classes will be bringing home a newsletter next week with more details.

Summer Reading Challenge Kaikohe library is running a ‘’Summer Reading Challenge’’ to try and encourage kids aged 6 to 14 years to read throughout the holidays and slow that ‘’summer slide’’. Call into the Kaikohe Library to register. Registration closes 21st December 2012.
Classrooms Moving On Monday 17th December Rooms 1,2,5 and 6 will be emptying their classrooms ready for Kerikeri Construction who will be completing these classroom upgrades during the holidays. Children from these rooms are likely to be placed in other rooms if they attend school during this week while moving is going on to ensure their safety. Thanks to our two Room 6 Dad’s – Aden and Dion that have agreed to come along and help move furniture during this week. Any other helpers who are available during this week to help move would be great! Please give us a call or just come in. |
