Staff Professional Development – Maths - Fractions

This year we are focussing on improving the way that we teach Maths.  We have two facilitators that come to our school during each term to support and develop teacher understanding around the teaching of Maths.  They work in classrooms with teachers and children.

Last week we had a staff hui about the teaching of Fractions – we learnt about what we should be teaching at each Year level and trialled some activities and problems that we could use with our children.
