Matariki Celebration – WIG day

This Friday 23rd June all classes will be involved in Matariki Celebrations.

Each Syndicate will have planned activities that the children will rotate around classes completing different activities.

A group of children will be helping to prepare a small hangi for every child in the school with Miss Mason in Room 12 and a small group of children will be helping put the hangi down with Matua JT, the hangi will be ready at 1pm.  We are also combining “Wig Day” with this and asking for children to bring a gold coin donation to school on this day, they will get a hangi and all coins collected will be given to the Child Cancer fundraising group.
