Can the survey please be returned to the school office by this Friday, 23rd October 2015.

Free Glasses

Most children who required glasses have now had them fitted and are required to wear them at all times, at home and at school. For The few children who haven’t had their glasses fitted yet, the One Sight group will be making another time to do this.

End of Year Reports

This term whanau can expect a written end of year report to come home with the school newsletter on Wednesday 2nd of December. The report will outline how your child aligns with the National Standards for Writing, Reading and Maths and will discuss what they can currently do and what their next steps might be. Of course if whanau would like a face-to-face meeting with their child’s teacher before or after the report is sent home please do not hesitate to make contact with the appropriate teacher.

If your child only started school this term no written report will be provided.

We are waiting for another order of kutu solution. It should be available at the school office soon. Please come and get what you need to treat your child.

Budget 2016

Each year the BOT in liaison with the staff prepare a school budget that will allow us to do all the things we would like to in terms of class/school programmes, make purchases that are needed and ensure that purchases are necessary and important. Staff have had early discussions and are thinking for 2016 our priority spending will be around Professional Development with an emphasis on ICT/e-learning, EOTC – class trips and visitors and staffing to ensure that all children’s learning needs are met.

If whanau have any ideas about purchases for 2016 please do not hesitate to let us know via email, Facebook, text or come and tell us. We will consider all suggestions.
